[00:00:00] Speaker A: Hello, my friends, and welcome back to Movie Deputy Reviews, where our review today is gonna look a little different than normal. And now you probably thought I forgot because we didn't get this up this morning due to just some health issues and stuff going on, which a lot of you know about. Instead of this being a morning show, this is an evening show. So I did not forget. But plus, this is going to be some extra stuff that you don't expect because we are not just talking about a movie, but we are talking about Matt Taylor. Now, who is Matt Taylor? Well, we're going to be getting into that and a lot more, but if you were on our YouTube channel, you know, the movie we are talking about already is the new movie, Solo Mio, that opens on February 6, the new one with Kevin James. And you're thinking, wait, you're. This movie's not out yet. That's the whole point that this way you can get to decide if this is going to be one that you want to check out or not. Now, I will say this one is. It's a chick flick. I'm not going to deny it. It's a chick flick. There's. There's stuff that both parties can ENJ is going to be a great date movie. Whether you are on your first date or whether you are taking your spouse out on a date. This one is going to warm a lot of hearts. And this one's going to steal a lot of hearts too, because it is emotional, it is sweet, it's poignant, it's. It's inspiring. There's so many things going on in this story, and I just cannot wait to share it with you. And you know me, of course. No spoilers ever. Nothing even close to a spoiler here. So you're good there. I do want to get into the trailer before we get too deep into the review. There is definitely some parts of this movie that are may not a hundred percent suitable for the youngest of audiences. And though there is some minor language involved, there is absolutely nothing inappropriate for younger viewers. So I actually am giving this an innocent rating, even though there is a little bit of language and stuff in it, because there's really nothing in here that is not, I mean, family appropriate, not. Not overly so at least. And of course, this movie has been approved by the Angel Guild as well. And you may be wondering, what's that? Well, that's like kind of a big thing with angel studios that determine like a lot of different things along with the movie, but basically that. That it's wholesome And I think that is probably one of the most endearing terms I can give this. But let's jump over here to the trailer and I will share that. And then of course, I'm going to be here to talk to you more about not only the movie, but Matt Taylor. So let's get into this. Sorry about that. That's my. [00:02:42] Speaker B: Hey. I'm just going to need to move some things around with my reservation. Is there something wrong? Look, I think we both know things didn't go too well today. What's going on? [00:02:52] Speaker A: She was just here. And then she wasn't. If I was in this position, I. [00:02:56] Speaker B: Would enjoy the pack package myself on my honeymoon. Honeymoon? Vacation. But it's what you want. [00:03:03] Speaker A: Sometimes gravity comes so fast I don't. [00:03:06] Speaker B: Know where I'm falling to. Is a seat taken? Sorry, do I know you? You're on that honeymoon package. Yes. Where's your two? [00:03:15] Speaker A: That's personal. [00:03:16] Speaker B: Oh, it's a no show. Hey, Scoozy. Big Tuna. He's gonna need that. Got left at the altar. No, I. I never. I never said that. I'm Claudia. [00:03:27] Speaker A: I like not going to help him. He needs to heal. [00:03:31] Speaker B: Oh, you're one of those guys. What's that supposed to mean? You know what it means. [00:03:36] Speaker A: What's your name? [00:03:37] Speaker B: Matt. And you are? Cafe Del Sol. [00:03:40] Speaker A: G at that. [00:03:42] Speaker B: I was. I was just trying to be funny. [00:03:44] Speaker A: Okay, I keep trying. [00:03:48] Speaker B: Hey, I think that was Matthew. [00:03:50] Speaker A: Who's on the back? [00:03:51] Speaker B: Coffee lady. Now, Maddie. [00:03:52] Speaker A: Go. [00:03:55] Speaker B: Maddie. It's time that you accept it. She's the only woman I ever. Look, I can't start over again. [00:04:03] Speaker A: You have to try. Don't be afraid. [00:04:07] Speaker B: Did you kiss her? Oh, okay. I'm sorry. [00:04:09] Speaker A: Okay. Like this. It's not hard. Don't be weird. [00:04:18] Speaker B: I'm going to a concert. I got an extra ticket. You want to go? [00:04:22] Speaker A: Yes. [00:04:28] Speaker B: Line them up, buddy. [00:04:32] Speaker A: What do you think? That's beautiful. [00:04:34] Speaker B: I have to come back sometime. [00:04:35] Speaker A: Don't leave. Stay. [00:04:46] Speaker B: What's with the Ed Sheeran T shirt? I like his music. He's allowed to like what he likes. Almost 60. You're an old man with an earring. He made a choice. Like what a pirate would make or somebody's grandma. Solo mio in theaters February 6 buy tickets now at angel.com Solomio. [00:05:06] Speaker A: Like I said, there is just something special here. But yeah, I mean, I don't even know how I could really express that more here. Before I forget, I do want to share the podcast image. So basically, I didn't change it a Whole lot. It took the title card and just kind of shrunk it down into the square format a little bit. I added a little bit of a rim around the lettering just to make it a little easier to read. But yeah, so like I said, this one is just. It's a lot of fun. Now, you may be wondering who Matt Taylor is, because of course we're talking about Kevin James. But here, I want to share this with you. Now, I. I know this is gonna like appear freaky, but I don't know how to do it without doing a screen record. So you're gonna see like 10, a bunch of my windows here just for just a blip of a moment here. But there we go. Now this is Matt Taylor. Now who again is Matt Taylor. And of course I know you can hear me, but you can't see me at the moment. But this is the thing is this, this account showed up on Tick Tock a few months ago and people have been going, wait a minute, that's not Matt Taylor. That's Kevin James. Well, the thing is, Matt Taylor is the groom in the movie. And let's kind of check this out here. [00:06:21] Speaker B: Hey, guys, Mr. Taylor here, guess what? I want to show you. This reading gives your imagination wings. But you know what else does? My kids, my students, they are asking me to do this. But art also gives your imagination wings. Okay? So. And it gives you. It teaches you about life. It's not even about the art. It's about what you're bringing to it that creates the art. Where are you, Alex, by the way? You have my. My Picasso book. I gotta get that back from you. [00:06:58] Speaker A: And he does all of these different videos as Matt Taylor. And Matt Taylor, if you couldn't figure already, figure out he is an art teacher. And this is just different things that he talks about with art and these different things that are going on here. Just. I haven't even watched all of these yet. I have to admit that I have not even watched all of these yet. [00:07:19] Speaker B: Mr. Taylor here. You know, some of my darkest days, when it feels like gloomy and everything's kind of overwhelming, I love to think and reflect back on the fact that it is the darkness that brings the light. It's the darkness that allows the light to shine. And what happens is you just have to find the proper light. And it's always out there. You can see it through the darkness. [00:07:50] Speaker A: As it gets lighter, you can see. [00:07:53] Speaker B: You can find in your darkest days the light that lights up the world. Look at that. We could be creative and we can do great stuff. So remember, always go towards the light, guys. [00:08:08] Speaker A: All right? And that's what I'm talking about with this. I'm going to come back here. But this account, if you have it, if you happen to be on Tick Tock, it's the. The name of the account is. This is Matt Taylor. And here we go. I'm coming back over here. Here I am. Yay. And it is just. There's just something special about this movie. It's inspirational and it's fun and it's you. It makes you laugh. It makes you cry. There's some surprises in here that you do not want to miss. Like if you are just looking for just a touching movie, a wholesome movie to take somebody that you are in love with or that you're falling in love with, or you know what? Maybe it's your first date and you're just wanting something special. This is going to be it. If. So, if you're trying to figure out something for Valentine's Day, I know this is coming out eight days before Valentine's Day. And maybe that's done on purpose a little bit there, too, because it's giving you time to prepare, maybe even something ahead of Valentine's Day or like me, I'm married to somebody in transportation, so we don't always get to celebrate the days on the day. We kind of take it when we can. So who knows, we might be celebrating Valentine's on February 6th. It all kind of works around his schedule with that. And of course, we'll having Movie Deputy. I don't know what's on me there, but it's. It just is what it is. And here you have Kevin James. And as you could tell by the trailer, as you know me, no spoilers, but this is in the trailer he gets left at the altar. And so he has to figure out what he's going to do with the rest of his time in Italy. And this is going on in Rome, if you can kind of catch some of the visual cues there. But he decides to basically take what was going to be his honeymoon and he turns it into a vacation. And he does everything that they would have done together. And he meets somebody along the way and that just kind of blossoms. And he's guarded. He's like, I just had my heart broken. I'm engaged. I'm still in. She's the only woman I've ever really loved. Meaning his bride. His would have been bride. But how things kind of go with this new love interest. It starts more as A friendship and just kind of doing things together. And she helps him and he inspires her. And like I said, there are some really, like, I won't spoil it or give anything away there, but there are some surprises in this movie that literally I'm sitting here in my office and I watched it here in my office. So I didn't. I hadn't seen it at the theater or anything because I got to see this early. Thank you so much. But I'm sitting here and I was like, do you ever have those movies that just inspire you and they just make you feel good? This is one of those. And yes, it's a chick flick. And I'll be honest, okay, if it was just me scoring it, based on my personal opinion of this movie, mid eights, easily mid eights. But of course, I have to recognize and acknowledge the fact that this is a chick flick. So. And this is. It's meant to be this story about romance and about love. And it's supposed to be cheesy and sweet and just kind of everything all wrapped into one. And you may be going, what? But you've got to trust me on this is if you love love, if you're single, if you're married, if you're dating, if you love love, go see this. I movie Deputy. I'm giving this at 7.75 out of 10 on the Deputy scale. I said personally, easily mid eights. Mid eights all the way. But on the Deputy scale, I'm giving this a 7.75. But if you want to be inspired, if you want to fall in love, if you have a Tick Tock account, make sure to go check that out again. The account on Tick Tock is, this is Matt Taylor. And this is Matt Taylor. The Kevin James is playing Matt Taylor. But the. The videos and stuff on the Tick Tock account, don't worry, there's not going to be any spoilers for the movie on there either. But there is just something special about the inspiration. And the theme of the movie beyond love is you've got to shoot your shot. Just go, you have to try. What's the worst thing that's gonna happen? The worst thing that's gonna happen if you try something is somebody will say no, or you might fail. And when people are like, wait, wait, wait, why do I want to fail? No, you don't go into it wanting to fail, but you go into it trying. Because if you try something, even if you fail, at least you tried. And there's just something about that. Because the more you try the better you're gonna get. And that doesn't always work for everything in life. But if it doesn't work it's a teaching lesson and it's something that we can take away with us. So I hope that this movie truly inspires you. I hope that you want something really special and like I said, this is gonna be one of those for you and this is going to be p this is going to be a lot of people's favorite movie. Just hold down, just the whole shebang. Wham bam bomb done.
